first project

Our first project is to collect information detailing the two main series of UK military maps produced by Germany during WWII and to publish this information in the form of an online catalogue.

Firstly we will be listing the 1:100 000 series of UK maps, often referred to as "German Invasion Maps", that were produced for the German Military from around 1937 and are derived from the UK Ordnance Survey half-inch maps of the period.

Our second listing will cover the contents of the Mil Geo series of Object folders that contain UK area and city plans together with target photographs and were produced during WWII for use by the Luftwaffe.

If you have access to any of this material and would like to contribute to the project, then please get in touch.  contact us
